Deswegen werden die Anregungen der LVB in der Stadtratsvorlage nicht extra hervorgehoben.

Aber bei einem Thema hat es richtig geraucht, denn augenscheinlich sah man im Hause LVB überhaupt nicht ein, dass man auf das Bekleben der Scheiben verzichten soll. Reicht es denn nicht – so die bisherige Haltung – dass zwei Drittel der Fenster nicht zugeklebt werden?

Aus Sicht des Planungsdezernats reicht das nicht.

Und so formuliert es jetzt als besondere Notiz zum Abwägungsprozess:

„Besonders herauszuheben ist, dass zwischen der LVB und dem Verkehrs- und Tiefbauamt (VTA) keine Einigkeit zum Zielstandard Z10 Werbung an den Fahrzeugen erzielt werden konnte. Bei Verzicht auf Werbung an den Glasscheiben erwarten die LVB Einnahmeausfälle aus dem Werbevertrag und zudem sind die LVB bis 2024 vertraglich gebunden. Dies stellt aus Sicht des VTA kein Widerspruch zum Zielstandard dar, da dieser ja nicht sofort umgesetzt werden muss, sondern nach Auslaufen des Werbevertrages umgesetzt werden kann. Den angesprochenen Einnahmeausfällen steht eine höhere Akzeptanz gegenüber, die auf höhere Nutzerzahlen schließen lässt. Zudem ist nicht der vollständige Verzicht von Werbung Gegenstand des Zielstandards, sondern nur der Verzicht auf die Beklebung der Glasscheiben. Deshalb wurde dieser Zielstandard im Nahverkehrsplan belassen.“

Aber die Sturheit des Nahverkehrsunternehmens ist hier unübersehbar.

Und dass das Argument in dieser Weise nicht stimmen kann, wissen die Fahrgäste der LVB, denn es sind bevorzugt Leipziger Kommunalunternehmen, die am liebsten alle Scheiben, die irgendwie erfasst werden können, mit Werbung zukleben – allen voran die L-Gruppe selbst. Wenigstens da hätten die Fahrgäste der LVB erwarten können, dass sich die stadteigenen Unternehmen zurückhalten und ihre Werbung so gestalten, dass dazu nicht auch noch die Fenster zugeklebt werden müssen.

Aber auch andere Beispiele städtischer Imagewerbung zeigen dieselbe Rücksichtslosigkeit – so wie im Bild die Olympiawerbung von 2016. Das sind Aktionen, die nicht wirklich einen finanziellen Ausfall für die LVB bedeuten. Sie erzählen vor allem davon, dass die Werbeverantwortlichen im Unternehmen nicht einmal die nötige Sensibilität besitzen, Werbung auf das Nötige zu reduzieren.

Leipzigs Verkehrsplaner haben recht: Ihrem Image haben die LVB mit dieser Rücksichtslosigkeit keinen Dienst erwiesen.
